Stephenie has updated her site with information on a fundraiser called Project Save the Book Babe. The money is being raised to help a dear friend of Stephenie’s who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Personally, I’ll be auctioning some ARCs (Advanced Reader Copies) of my books, an early marked up manuscript or two, my dress from the Eclipse prom, and the fluffy original epilogue to Forever Dawn, along with signed books, of course. We’re still in the process of putting this together, so more info will be forthcoming over the next week. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow (Tuesday the 17th) so if you’re interested in attending and helping us save our Book Babe Faith, hurry over to the site and check it out.

Salute To Twilight Convention In Atlanta

Creation Entertainment’s Twi-Tour 2009 Salute to Twilight Convention will be landing in Atlanta, GA at the Buckhead Westin July 11-12, 2009. So far scheduled to appear (as always subject to change) are Billy Burke (Charlie Swan), Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), and Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen). I’ll update here as the more news comes in. Just a note on the bits and pieces of a USA today article that has been quoted recently in the last few days on Stephen Kings thoughts on JK Rowling and Stephenie Meyer. I have not seen the whole article but have pieced together enough to know there are several excerpts that have been posted out of context. Stephenie Meyer Day 2009 Announced

Forks Chamber of Commerce has announced plans for Stephenie Meyer Day 2009. Scheduled for Sept 12-13, 2009 they give links for lodging and are looking for suggestions for the celebrations as well as volunteers.
