Fans will compete against each other and the crew during the first half of the day. The fan game will be followed by Vampire Baseball™ featuring cast and crew from the movie Twilight which was filmed in the Portland area. Actors Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene, Edi Gathegi, Rachelle Levefre, Solomon Trimble, Michael Welch, Ayanna Berkshire, Alex Meraz, Christian Serratos, Kiowa Gordon, and Catherine Grimme will all be present to participate in the festivities. PGE Park, a professional baseball stadium and home of the Portland Beavers, has been reserved for their exclusive use and fans will cheer on their favorite teams from the Grand Stand and have the opportunity to take as many pictures (no video allowed) as they like when cast and crew take to the field.
TwilightLive and other fan site celebrities will be on hand to get fans ready for this exciting event by providing pre-game discussions, interviews, and game commentary. For our “All-star” Premium Package folks, the party continues with fans having access to PGE Park in the evening. Creation Entertainment’s Twi-Tour 2009 Salute to Twilight Convention will be landing in Atlanta, GA at the Buckhead Westin July 11-12, 2009. So far scheduled to appear (as always subject to change) are Billy Burke (Charlie Swan), Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), and Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen). I’ll update here as the more news comes in. This holiday season the perennial vampire flick returns with Twilight, a modern-day love story between a teenager and a young vampire. The film is based on the pop-phenom book of the same name, but the story has its roots in Dracula, written by Bram Stoker in 1897, and making its first appearance when the author read the book as a play to a mesmerized audience.
The moment of Dracula’s debut (May 18, 1897; 10:15 am; London, UK**) describes the blood-sucking archetype—elegant and sophisticated as well as a shadowy, evil predator. At the foundation of this horoscope is Chiron in Scorpio. This placement reiterates the theme of sexual woundedness.
